FRIDAY evening, April 23, 7:00-10:00pm
AN ORGANIC RESPONSE TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Meet Giselle Meza, founder of Puresa Organics. Giselle is a Palm Beach County resident and former model whose career has taken her around the world. In her travels, she's been struck by the needs of oppressed and trafficked women. She started Puresa Organics, a company that designs organic cotton and jute bags that are made within rescue centers in Nepal and India. Mission Gifts has been selling Puresa Bags to happy customers for some time, and we welcome this opportunity for Giselle to interact with our guests. Come and learn more, ask questions, see their new video from her recent trip to Nepal.
And buy some of their new designs. A terrific response to human trafficking, and a pledge to better consumer practices for the earth.
SUNDAY afternoon, April 25, 1:00-5:00pm
MEET THE GREEN LEAGUE OF BROWARD
On Sunday, visit the Green Gourmet Farmer's Market on Las Olas--across the street from the gallery--and then come on over and hang out with the Green League of Broward. Enjoy music from green guys, the GSR Band. 10% of all sales from the day will benefit the Green League's email and website needs. The Green League is a fantastic group of concerned citizens, business owners, organizations such as the Sierra Club, government agencies, and the curious. Meetings are held monthly and are free and open to the public. Come and learn more about this great group of people, enjoy some healthy snacks, and stock up on some Fair Trade products from Mission Gifts.
