Dear Friends, Fans, Family and Members of the Press,
Happy Spring! I'm writing to share several exciting news items, and to
ask for your support in carrying out one of them.
Please see the Gigs section for details on my special In Harmony with
Nature concert of Music and Poetry tomorrow.
And I'm thrilled to announce that my song "No Nukes Swing" will appear
on PeaceSongsCNY, the first-ever compilation CD produced by Syracuse
Peace Council. This CD celebrates SPC's 75th Anniversary, and the CD
and Release Party benefit SPC's important Peace and Justice work.
"No Nukes Swing" was originally released for digital distribution on
August 6, 2011, the 66th anniversary of the atomic bombing of
Hiroshima, and this CD is a great opportunity for the song to reach
more people. There's lots more background on "No Nukes Swing" at my CD

The PeaceSongsCNY CD Release party will be held May 6, 2012 in
Syracuse, NY and I want to be there for this very special occasion! I
was very involved with SPC activities when I lived in Syracuse, and
learned a great deal from these wonderful and dedicated activists.
But because the CD Release Party is a benefit, none of the performers
will be paid. So I'm raising money to cover the airfare and car rental
for my trip, which will cost around $400. SPC will be helping me with a
place to stay and helping set up another paying gig for me while I'm in
town. If you would like to make a donation towards my travel expenses,
so I can attend and perform at this special gathering, info on a

I am honored to announce that the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort
Lauderdale Endowment Fund has supported my program of hospice music
sessions with a grant for the seventh year! This funding will provide
bedside music sessions on the hospice wing of Broward General Medical
Center, and at other healthcare facilities.
