The Bureau of Labor Statistics or (BLS) site i found has some
interesting info on it.

http://www.bls.gov/green/

they define "Green Jobs" as being either:

1. Jobs in businesses that produce goods or provide services that
benefit the environment or conserve natural resources.
2. Jobs in which workers’ duties involve making their
establishment’s production processes more environmentally friendly or
use fewer natural resources.

there are examples of environmentally friendly processes and practices
on the site as well that can be used as examples of ideal green job
situations.

another solid definition i found that basically says the same thing in
with bigger words. If u follow this link the definition is on the side
by recent posts that says "What is a Green Job?" & "UNEP Definition of
Green Jobs."

http://www.metrodchomes.typepad.com/shades_of_green/

the "what is green jobs" is a good resource to use showing examples of
how "green jobs" is hard to define. they basically narrowed it down to
as simple as ""Green job is any job that help reduce carbon
footprint," keyword ANY
