We, Green Island Youth Forum, under the supervision of Green Island Trust, organizing different events during the holy month of Ramadhan, for the last seven years, for helping the needy ones and for spiritual development of the community. For spiritual development, we organize Diniyat classes for boys and girls, Quran recitation, Namaz Clinic and memorizing different Surah, Ziarats, takibaats etc.
In Ramadhan relief fund, we provide foodstuffs (RATION) to the needy families for bringing easiness to their life during this holy month. Last year, we provided the same to 150 families amounting Rs. 750,000/= (Rs. 5000/family) and for this year, we have planned to extend it to 200 families. The required budget will be approximately Rs. 1 Million. In addition to this, we also give EIDI to some families on EID, depending upon the availability of the funds.
Following are the statistics of this year for Ramadhan Diniyat classes, held in different areas of Karachi, in which experienced teachers taught the students.

The projected budget for all these classes is around Rs. 2.65/= million. (Pak Rupees Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Only)

In Quran recitation, there were 30 students (mostly elders), and proper recitation was taught by the professional. Last year we spent Rs. 80,900/= (Eight Thousand Nine Hundred) and this year estimation is Rs. 85,800/= (Eight Five Thousand Eight Hundred)
In Namaz Clinic, people have the option to ask any question related to Masail-e-Namaz and one to one meeting can be arranged, if required. Experience shows that many people have taken good advantage of the opportunity to rectify the Namaz mistakes. Budget for this year is same as of last year i.e. Rs.5000/=
Overall budget for this holy month to accomplish the target is Rs. 4.65/= Million (Pak Rupees Four Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Only). Since our organization relies on the generosity of individuals like you, we write to ask you to consider a donation to our cause. In addition to this, we have permission to collect Khums from Ayatuallah Sistani (DZA). (Soft copy of Khums receipts from his Eminence office of qum will be given within 96hrs of receipt of the Khums).
