Hello Everyone,

Greetings from Climate Centre for Cities!

Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has established the Climate Centre for Cities (C-CUBE) at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) to create synergy across all climate actions, which are being undertaken in Indian cities by various stakeholders

With the support from Ministry, the Climate Centre for Cities is organizing a “National Photography Competition” as part of pre-event activities leading to the ‘Smart Cities: Smart Urbanisation’ event on 4th and 5th February 2022 at Surat, Gujarat. The competition aims to sensitize the challenges posed by climate change, enrich the participants with ideas to solutions, and promote climate action in cities.

We are inviting participants to submit photographs which are either focusing on the impacts of climate change on Indian cities and actions taken by individuals, communities, or city authorities to adapt/ mitigate climate change. The participants are asked to submit the photographs across two categories:

        Climate Impacts in Cities

        Climate Actions in Cities

The last date of submission is on 26 January 2021. For more details please visit https://niua.org/c-cube/content/national-photography-competition

Do reach out to me in case of any queries. Feel free to forward the message to other groups and networks.

Thank you.
Best Regards,
Punit Gandhi
