and discussion on advancing sustainable development in the U.S. led by
Amanda Fencl and Lea Lupkin from SustainUS. Networking begins at 6pm
with the discussion following at *6:30pm.

Founded in 2001, in preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable
Development, SustainUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of
young people advancing sustainable development and youth empowerment

Amanda Fencl, a Staff Scientist with Stockholm Environment Institute
and former SustainUS Volunteer Coordinator and Lea Lupkin, Program
Analyst at GreenerU and Convention on Biological Diversity Policy
Advisor for SustainUS, will speak about SustainUS's unique impacts in
the world and novel organization structure as well as upcoming
programs which include sending delegations to the next UN climate
negotiations in Cancun in December and the UN biological diversity
negotiations in Japan this October.

in the Sustainable Food Movement.

Speakers: Julia Frost from CHIVE Sustainable Catering will speak with
Zach Brewton of First Light Farm and Kipp Nihols of Formaggio Kitchen
about the challenges of starting a green business, sourcing local year
round in New England and the relationships that sustain and grow the
business.
