Since this Mesh aspect is related to Linux I'll post it here, though I doubt there is enough of a user base
here to really get anywhere.
It has become apparent in some preliminary tests that the 2.4 GHz band has a high noise floor, making radio
connections more difficult than they need to be.
So since we are hams we are investigating what it takes to modify the stock OpenWRT install to support
extra channels (ones inside the ham band, away from your neighbors wifi devices :-)
