Dear Friend --  I am thrilled to be running for Alexandria City’s School Board on November 6th.   As a teacher and mother, I am devoted to ensuring that our children have access to an education that will set them up for a life of choices and opportunity. Alexandria’s students deserve leaders – whether in the classroom or in the superintendent’s office – who have extremely high expectations and include parents and families as partners in the pursuit of results. With less than 50 days to the election, I now need your help to get the word out about my candidacy.  This all starts with my official campaign kick-off on Sunday, September 30th at the No. 9 lounge at Evening Star in Del Ray.  This will be an opportunity to learn more about me and my vision for Alexandria City Public Schools and discuss opportunities to help my campaign.  Please stop by and enjoy some food, good company, and discussion about the future ofAlexandria’s schools.
