Martha's Table event: June 27

It’s that time of the year again! I hope you can join me for a summer happy hour fundraiser to benefit Martha’s Table, a DC nonprofit organization serving low income families and children (providing food and clothing as well as education and family-strengthening programs).
All the details are included in the invitation below and attached. It’s next Monday 27 June, 6:30-8:30 pm at Cork, an awesome wine bar and restaurant on the ever-hip 14th Street corridor. Tickets are $45 ($20 for students) and all of your donation will go to Martha’s Table. Events like this one are critical to the organization’s ability to serve those in need, especially as many people are still struggling. And while this is a fundraiser for MT, it’s also about engaging DC-area professionals and creating greater awareness around issues of hunger and poverty.
It’s going to be a fun crowd gathered for a great cause. I’m hoping you can join me at this casual happy hour – and feel free to bring others.
