2020 Great Texas 300 Starts Tomorrow

Yes, that was the post you would typically see from Steve Piche.  Normally we would be setting up and practicing this day on South Padre Island getting ready for the start on Wednesday morning.  I know we did not sail last year wondering if 2020 would be the next launch.  This week will have a special place in my heart for the man that led us to create a fantastic 300 mile race up the Texas coast.  It took a lot of guts and energy to put on this event and also sail it.  I have tremendous memories from doing something this outrageous 15 times.  Every year was the same coast, but was a different experience.  So this time every year I will be thanking Steve for dragging us all in to do this amazing event.  As the years went on it became a ritual.
