I am on this mailing list but haven’t been active with GPCC. Nonetheless…

There is an interesting discussion taking place in Fargo Moorhead about how we design our cities and what impact that has on walkability and bike-ability. CassClayAlive is hosting a “Building Cities for People” event on March 3 at Dakota Medical Foundation (see attached). Local urban planner, Mike Zimney, makes a strong case for re-thinking community design. If you pedal on the streets of FM like I do, this is a very important and timely topic. Please consider attending.

We'll be having the first meeting of 2015 for Great Plains Cycling Club on Thursday, February 26th at 8pm at Fargo Brewing Company's taproom (610 N University Dr, Fargo ND 58102). Here's what we have for an agenda so far:

New Business (events/rides for 2015)

New kits

Please reply to all if you have something to add AND/OR if you're going to be able to join us. We'll also have the remaining clothing at a discounted price if you need some new riding gear CHEAP!
