Loser's Bracket

For those still paying attention, I apparently messed up the Loser's Bracket.  Based on 17 texts from Prince Mongo's Spirits over the last few days during my sabbatical in Disney World, seeds 7 and 8 should have gotten byes, and the bottom four teams should have played each other.  The losers of this past week's games should have been playing each other this week to determine the most pathetic fantasy team and the $50 owed to the Franchise for scoring the most regular season points.

Based on this oversight, the Rules Committee has decided the Franchise's $50 will be deducted from the winnings much like the championship ring and the fee charged by paypal to those who haven't figured out how to use paypal (though I think everyone figured it out this year).

Thus, first place will receive $30 less, Second will receive $15 less, and Third will receive $5 less.  If someone can think of a more fair (fairer?) way to do this, the Rules Committee will consider whether or not to consider your pleas. If you're just want to say you don't like it without an alternative suggestion, please call or text 901-481-0421 or 901-268-5763.

 ALSO: I am also working on a Championship Trophy that will have a plaque for each champion, team owners, and possibly MVP (as determined by the champion owners).  Lebron and I are paying for the initial creation for the trophy.

FINALLY: it has been submitted to make last place more punitive to up the loser penalty to $100 or payment of next year's entry fee for the most points scored team. This would begin next year, and a poll to vote on this initiative is forthcoming.

I set up the loser's bracket so  that they would play this week bc I was thinking 7 and 8 seeds should not be in loser's bracket, but last year we did it where they got a bye, so while they would be in the loser's bracket, they couldn't get last place.

I can't go back now and change it back because Blake, Dave, and Todd would not know that they had to play a game.  I can't keep it the way it is because Andy tried so hard to win last week based on last year's setup and should not risk paying 50 bucks. 

It's the loser's bracket and it's only 50 bucks, but I understand there are principles involved.
