Population


Gurjar community have a population of around 5.3 crores approx. in
India.This community population dominates western UP,delhi,some parts
of haryana,Madyapradesh,rajasthan etc. The total approximate population
of gurjars in diiferent parts of India and some other Countries are
given below:

Western UP is totally dominates by gurjars.Before 1857 western UP was
called Mini Gujarat due to domination of Gujjars in this region as this
region was ruled by them. The places ruled by Gujjars are Pariknuts
Garh and Behsuma in Meerut District and Landhora in Saharanpur
district.In Haryana They are mainly in the following Districts:
Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panchkula, Panipat, Narwana and Karnal. (All Hindu)
The total Population of Gurjars in Haryana is around 10 Lacs, forming
slightly less than 5% of the total population.

The Total Population of Gurjars in India is 5.3 Crores and 3.2 Crores
in Paksitan.In India gurjars are mainly reside in
UP,Rajastan,Gujrat,MP,Haryana,Karnataka,Jammu and kashmir and
Orissa.But the majority of population resides in UP,Rajasthan and
Gujrat.In India most of gurjars are Hindus except Gurjars in Jammu and
kashmir.The Gurjars of JK are Muslims.While in Pakistan Gurjars are
found mainly in Attak,Peshawar,Jhelam,Rawal
pindi,Gujranwala,Sialokote,Lahore and Gujrat.All of the Pakistani
Gurjars are Muslim Gurjars.Gurjars have some Popolation in
Afghanistan,Iran,Iraq,Chechan and Georgia alsobut .Gurjars are in
minorities in these countries.These Countries have all together 50
lakhs of gurjar population.
