Rajbir Brar 12:48pm May 29 VK has got all that he wanted why should he be bothered about the lesser human beings, he has got OROP to hell with others Ranbir Singh Mandhan 12:47pm May 29 क्या हुआ "वन रैंक वन पेंशन" ? .. है कोई बहाना ??....//// मोदी जी ने कई वायदे किये थे - बुलेट ट्रेन - सबके लिए मकान स्कूल अस्पताल शौचालय - स्मार्ट सिटी - कालाधन वापसी - महंगाई कम - ज्यादा रोज़गार - नमामि गंगे - आदि .... पर ऐसे सारे वायदे पूरे नहीं किये .... और बहाना ये कि ये सारे काम अब एक दिन में तो हो नहीं सकते - कोई जादू की छड़ी तो है नहीं .... और देश की जनता ने भी भर ली ठंडी सांस - कि ठीक है सही कहते होंगे .... अब किया भी क्या जा सकता है ?? पर ऐसे ही कई वायदों में एक वायदा अनूठा था - और वो वायदा भी बकायदा ऐसा था कि आज भी कोई तड़ीपार उसे "जुमला" नहीं कह सकता - क्योंकि वायदा मोदी जी के मुँह से सीधे सीधे सीधी भाषा में किया गया वायदा था - जी हाँ - वो वायदा था - "वन रैंक वन पेंशन" .... अब इस वायदे को पूरा करने में ना तो जमीन लगनी थी - ना डीज़ल लगना था ना सीमेंट ना लोहा ना यूरेनियम ना यूरिया ना दवा न दारू ना मजदूर ना सूट ना धोती .... ना कोई गिरारी घूमनी थी - ना कोई कला लगनी थी .... ना वन विभाग की अनापत्ति ना पर्यावरण का लफड़ा ना मत्स्य विभाग की सलाह .... ना ही किसी विपक्षी दल के किसी भी विरोध की संभावना .... ना ही किसी भी संस्था या केजरीवाल का विरोध .... इसमें तो ना किसी 'मेक इन इंडिया' का लफड़ा था - ना किसी विदेशी सहायता की आवश्यकता - और ना 'डिजिटल इंडिया' की दरकार - और ना लोकसभा ना राज्यसभा !!!! इस वायदे को पूरा करने के लिए तो बस दो चार पन्ने का एक आदेश और पेंशन के भुगतान के लिए आवश्यक राशि भर लगनी थी .... जो अभी-अभी कोयला खदानों के आवंटन से प्राप्त हो ही चुकी थी जिसकी घोषणा भी स्वयं मोदी जी ने विदेशी धरती पर करी थी .... पर ये वायदा पूरा नहीं किया गया - और इसलिए फौजियों में रोष है - और आज नाराज़गी का इज़हार भी हो गया जब कुछ पूर्व जांबाजों ने फ़ौज के किसी सरकारी कार्यक्रम में पधारने का सरकारी न्यौता ठुकरा दिया .... और मुझे लगा जैसे फौजियों ने इस सरकार को एक ठोकर से ठुकरा दिया .... आज मुझे तो साफ़ हो चला है कि मोदी जी केवल फेंकते है .... उन्होंने "वन रैंक वन पेंशन" का वायदा पूर्ण नहीं किया - और इसलिए मैं उनके बारे में यही कह सकता हूँ कि - ये किसी को पेंशन नहीं देने वाले - हाँ ये "टेंशन" ज़रूर देते रहेंगे !!!! Jugu Sethi 12:44pm May 29 Does Gen VK have any inner values ??? ...how can he see all this and do nothing Real sad View All Comments Original Post Anil Kaul 8:04pm May 25 CALLING ALL ESM ORGANIZATIONS IT IS NOW OR NEVER Dear All, The long overdue and repeatedly promised announcement of the acceptance of OROP has not happened. Despite repeated assurances from the highest in the hierarchy both civilian and in uniform the ESM community has been left in the lurch once again. It seems that our voice has not been heard in the required quarters. Obviously we do not count in their scheme of things and are considered as a “Use & Throw” item. The aspirations and hopes of 28 lakh ESM & 6 Lakh widows have been dashed into the dust. Where do we go from here? Numerous letters, delegations, protests and deliberations over the last four decades have come to naught. The political class ably supported by the bureaucracy has quite adroitly stymied all our efforts to get our just dues. Perhaps it is a factor of our adherence to civility, discipline and decorum that has been misconstrued as subservience. It is time we got our act together and rose as one akin to the legendary phoenix to ensure that what is just has to be a must. It is the duty of the present lot of ESM leading the charge to take action for the sake of our predecessors and those who will follow us. History will never forgive us were we to fail to deliver at this juncture. In order to take this forward, culminating in a nationwide agitation, IESM is convening a meeting of all stake holder ESM organizations on Saturday 6th of June 2015 at 1100h at the committee room of DSOI Dhaula Kuan New Delhi. Ironically on the 71st Anniversary of D-Day. Let us leave aside our differences real or perceived and get together to chalk out to finalise our plan to make the powers that be relent and yield to give justice to the one community that has held this nation together through thick and thin over the last 67 years at great cost in terms of lives lost, bodies maimed and families dismembered. We implore all organizations irrespective of rank, service or region to join by sending at least one if not two representatives to this conclave. Let 6/6/15 be our D-Day. We look forward to your active participation.
