Full Stack Java Developer Job - Remote & Occasional Onsite in Ann Arbor

I am working with a client who is currently seeking a Java Developer for a full-time, direct hire position.  The company is located in Ann Arbor, and will require occasional visits onsite.  However, the majority of the work will be remote.  For this position, we are seeking the following:

• 8+ years of Java with a strong focus on current web technologies
  
• Java Servlets/JSP
  
• JPA and JDBC, schema design experience is a plus
  
• Front-end HTML/CSS/Javascript
  
• Requirements analysis and spec development
  
• Spring experience is helpful
  
• Advanced Javascript (ES6, Node.js, etc.) desired
  
• MERN stack experience is a plus
  
• Linux system administration/DevOps and Docker experience is also helpful
  
• Some server side development (Java Servlets, JSP, PHP, ASP) experience required.
  

Although much of the work to be performed will be cutting edge web development, this position requires someone with backend/server side development experience.
