Auditions for Jesus Christ Superstar at Riverwalk

Open auditions will be held December 7 & 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM

This reimagining centers on obsession—and the danger that comes when that obsession is betrayed. This Tony-Award winning rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, tells the story of Jesus Christ’s final days, culminating in his crucifixion. Told entirely through song, it is a timeless work set against the backdrop of a universally-known series of events, but seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. 

Performs February 26-March 1 & March 5-8, 2026 on Riverwalk Theatre's Rotary Main Stage.

Seeking a diverse, gender-neutral cast of 18–22 performers, including 9 named roles and an intense, expressive ensemble. 

All identities, vocal types, and performance styles are encouraged to audition.
