First Weekend Cancelled

Due to unforeseen circumstances Ixion Ensemble’s A Song for Coretta by playwright Pearl Cleage will only play ONE weekend only, October 17-18-19 at Stage One 2200 Lake Lansing Road.

The show features mourners at the funeral of Coretta Scott King, wife of Martin Luther King Jr.,  five Black women from different generations, backgrounds, and walks of life offering different perspectives, conflict and connections.

Beloved videographer, fave game show host and emcee, Matt Ottinger has developed a WONderful Database of cast/crew credits for area community theatre shows (Sorry LCC & MSU) You can search by show or by person’s name. Many of you already check it frequently when “who played that role?” questions arise. Check it out at http://lansingtheatre.org

The bad news: Matt and his delightfully artsy wife Claudia are moving to California in November!
