Some information/requests re computers, for both Java and Scratch.

Scratch:

It would be very, very preferable for you to bring your own computers, both because you would have a computer you are used to and because we wouldn’t have the logistics hassle of supplying computers – logon issues, issues that arise simply because we haven’t used these computers before, etc.

If you don’t have school computers that you can bring, do the students have one computer per team?  Could parents’ computers be borrowed?  If you absolutely cannot bring one computer per team, I need to know well in advance, essentially now.

Be sure you have an offline version of Scratch installed, as you will not have internet access.

Java:

Please, no Macs.  We have no one who can supply tech support for Macs.  If you absolutely must bring a Mac, I need to know well in advance, essentially now.  Or I need to be reassured that you will not need tech support…..  ;->

Thanks!
