Monday Aug 5th 8:30 Karen Goodwin leads 10-12 pace out 103c Colburg Bottom Loop. 27 miles 310’ Gain. She might have a brief Pickleball demo at Colburg park.
Tuesday Aug 6th 8:30 Craig Congdon will lead some hills 12-14 pace 25 to 50 miles with hills. Be ready for climbing!
Tuesday Aug 6th 8:30 Bob Lewis will lead anyone interested in 10-12 pace 25 miles 1932’ gain Free fun Fox Hollow Signup genius pending.
Tuesday Evening 6:00 Julie Reed will lead from behind 14-16 pace 317a pine grove via Lorane 28 miles 838’. A short and sweet ride.
Thursday Aug 8th Ted Conover will lead 13-15 pace out 209d Camas bakery via Milliron. 36miles 410’ gain. Hopefully Royal west of Green Hill will be finished chip sealing. Watch of loose gravel
Thursday Aug 8th 8:30 Steve Husak will lead 16+ out 104e Harrisburg via Diamond Hill. 52 miles and 531’ gain. A gem of a ride
Thursday Aug 8th 6:00 Danielle Curran will lead 14-16 pace out113a McKenzie View, 25 miles 543’gain and lots of sweat.
Saturday Aug 10th 8:30 Bob Lewis will lead 13-15 pace from Maury Jacobs Park out 417b Cloverdale Creswell bakery. 35 miles
Sunday Aug 11th 9:00 Danielle Curran will lead a 12-14 pace gravel remote start on Tum Tum Trail near Corvallis. No e-bike allowed per trail information. 39 miles
Monday Aug 12th 8:30 Bob Lewis will lead SloMo 10-12 pace remote start from Albertsons on Marcela in Springfield out 117d Upper Camp Creek. We will review the sighting of plane, grader and mountain lion mural.
We had lots of great rides this past week thanks to the wonderful volunteer ride leaders. Be sure to thank them early and often.

Saturday, August 17th, the bRamble Volunteer Rides:
At 7:30 a.m., Mr. John Reidy will lead 16+ Riders on the bRamble Wolf Creek Century (102 miles).
At 8:30 a.m.: Steve Hecker will lead 13 to 15 mph Riders on the bRamble Metric Century (62 miles)
At 8:30 am :Larry Diffie will lead 10 to 12 mph Riders on the 40 Miler Volunteer Ride.
The goal is to allow Volunteers a chance to experience the routes that they may not be able to participate in – due to their taking the time to bRamble Volunteer; however, with that said, these Rides are also open to others and fill or normal Saturday Ride schedule.
On Sunday, August 18th, there is a tentatively scheduled GEARs and Emeralds Baseball Game at 5:30, not that GEARs will be playing, well, maybe in the stands. And some GEARs Member will get to throw out the first ceremonial pitch. More details in the works!
On then, on Sunday, August 25th – something Big! Something that only happens once a year! Yes, it’s the GEARs Blackberry bRamble Riding Events!!!! Come one! Come all! And enjoy the beautiful rolling hills and countryside that surrounds our amazing cities!
