We are trying to create and promote BIM eco-system.
We need BIMServer to share information about buildings with all stakeholders. It has viewer, so one can view model in browser, without any other software. We can't create model with BIMServer, which can be done by FreeCAD. We need to upload .ifc file to BIMServer, however FreeCAD's native file extension is .fcstd
FreeCAD uses IfcOpenShell to export and import ifc files. As such capabilities of Ifcopenshell become bottleneck. So we need to start with FreeCAD (need Engineers, Architects/BIM modellers) who can work on this and produce Models, and then using other workbenches (may need to develop and / or enhance) of FreeCAD add more information, which is the purpose of BIM.
Need to enhance Ifcopenshell to fulfil our needs. Here we need CSE/IT and Architects/Engineers.
CSE/IT professionals are required to install/configure/maintain/enhance BIM Server, and all Architects/Engineers need to learn use of it.
