CUCUMBER-ONION PICKLE (SALAD)
Syrup: 3/4 C. sugar 1/2 Tbsp. salt
3/4 C. white vinegar 1/2 tsp. celery salt
Boil this mixture 5 minutes, then let cool. After cool add:
3 C. sliced cucumbers
1 large onion sliced thin
1 green pepper sliced thin
Refrigerate 24 hours for spices to blend, stirring twice.
It's ready to enjoy as a salad or freeze in bags. Will last
in frig one week and freezer for up to a year.
