JoyKIDS: Family Worship & Lent Journal

Hello JoyKIDS Parents!

This Sunday, 2/19 is Family Worship. There will be no separate JoyKIDS services.  Please join us as a family in the main sanctuary at 9:30am or 12:15pm.  However, JoyTODDLERS (ages 2~prek 5) will have their own separate worship services in the brown building.

During this year's Lent Season, which begins on 2/22 Ash Wednesday, our JoyKIDS will be doing the Lent Journal: Feasting in His Word & Fasting in Prayer. We are encouraging our children to spend time reading the Bible, praying and journaling everyday. This year, the children will be reading through the Bible passages from Abide in Christ: A 31-Day Devotional for Fellowship with Jesus by Andrew Murray. I would like to strongly encourage our parents to purchase this devotional and do the daily devotionals together as a family with your children. Let's spend this Lent Season teaching and showing our children what it means to Live in the Vine and to Abide in Christ.  

The Lent Journals will be given out this Sunday in the main sanctuary.  If you are away this Sunday, you may pick up the devotionals in our church office (White Building - 52 W. Ivy Ln) Tues~ Thurs 9 - 5pm. 

Please note, Abide in Christ book and the 31-Day Devotional are exactly the same in content.
