JOY: New Year, New NAMES!

Happy New Year Joy Families!

First, on behalf of all our volunteer teachers, thank you for the thoughtful and generous gift. We are so grateful for your prayers and your support!

As we begin the new year, Joy Children's Ministry will begin with some NEW NAMES! I shared this information at our last Parent Teacher Meeting but it may be a surprise news to many of you. In efforts to create a culture and an environment at Joy that is more welcoming to the newcomers, we have decided to change the names of our children ministries.  Oftentimes, newcomers and actually even old time members need explanations on what LS/MS/GA stands for and what age/grade level each group is. So, we decided to change the names to something that is simple and clear to everyone.

So, the new names are....

Joy BABIES (ages 0 - 2)

Joy TODDLERS (ages 2-5) - Previously Little Saints/Mustard Seeds

Joy KIDS (grades K ~ 5) - Previously Great Adventure

Currently, Joy BABIES is inactive but we hope to begin this new ministry in the near future.  As for Joy TODDLERS and Joy KIDS, nothing will change and the children will continue to worship our Jesus and have fun fellowship with the friends and teachers as they have been doing so all along.
