Invasion Mode is a unique mode featured in the Sniper Elite 5 campaign, the mode allows the player to be attack by a player controlled German Sniper known as the Sniper Jger. Once the Sniper "invades" your game you cannot load a save point, the mode will only end when one of you is dead. both teams can use Invasion phones to learn about the players location, however this will attract attention.
If the Player kills the Sniper Jger the player can skins the use in the campaign, either characters or weapon skins. the Sniper Jger starts of with a small loadout, each a single type of Rifle, SMG and Pistol.
Sniper Jager's are elite sniper hunters, controlled by player. Once Sniper Jager joins game he will spawn in random location on map, often near german soldiers. Sniper Jagers can use skins to blend in with infantry and customize weapons. He also can perform takedowns on player form back, but to kill player from front Sniper Jager needs bayonete on his rifle.
Stay Sharp - Sniper Jager have ability to shout to nerby soldiers order to "stay sharp" and look for player. To use this Sniper Jager have to press Left ALT, after this nerby soldiers will be tagged and will actively look for player, but wont change their's patrol routes. Once one of them is killed Sniper Jager will see X in their death place on the map. If their are triggered into combat Jager will se this change on map.
Sniper Jager, just as player, can use 3 weapons at time, Sniper Rifle, SMG and pistol out of with all can be customized (all upgrades are avaible for Sniper Jager), yet Sniper Jager starts only with 4 fixed gadgets:
Equipped to assist their elite counterparts in the field, but capable of providing support to any soldier of the Wehrmact (spelling error was in the game, not made by editor) that finds themselves outgunned in battle.
Anybody have any issue with the following orders achievement for completing all secondary objectives in the main campaign not unlocking? Anybody know if it will unlock after completing a few more missions secondary objectives or do you have to do an entire new play through. I'm assuming since this has been a know glitch and the completion is so high someone can give me some information on how to get it to unlock. Do i need to reinstall the game? Thanks.
Update: For anyone having this problem which seems to strike random people for no known reason all you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the game. Upon doing so the trophy popped for me as soon as i opened up the game for the 1st time. Problem solved. All the guides out there tell you to replay missions or the entire game. you don't need to do that.
I also had the same problem. It seemed like I completed all optional objectives but, as it turned out, in mission 7, I didn't blow up the boat (even though, at the end, all boxes next to Optional Objectives were checked). As soon as I started Mission 7 and blew the boat up (no need to go far ahead in the chapter, it will take less than 5 minutes), I got the trophy . So, if it didn't pop for you, that also might be the reason. ?

I never had to specify a version. when I purchased the disc I popped it in and it automatically installed I'm assuming the latest version. When I deleted it and reinstalled it I'm assuming the same version installed as the 1st time. In my case it definitely wasn't the boat as others have mentioned, the game glitched out. I have had three games not pop a trophy in the past year upon completing a series of events. EXA. finding all collectibles, obtaining 100% completion, finishing all missions or side missions. Every time, I deleted and reinstalled the game and it either popped the trophy or the objective or task showed back up as incomplete so I was able to go back and do it again. Just cause 3, mad max, sniper elite 3.
To everyone who still having problems unlocking the Following Orders trophy, no its not glitched and there's no need to re-install the game. I had the same problem. Just head to mission 7 , and go to the bridge leading to the graveyard there's a patrol boat thats roaming there and will appear as a secondary objective once you see it. You'll have to destroy it. Really weird that its not showing unless you discover the boat yourself, I think its the only secondary objective that you must do that in order to get the objective. Here's a map of the mission you need to go across the bridge leading to the graveyard (Number 2) to spot it: _elite_4/guide.asp?ID=39064
been awhile since i did this game but pretty sure I tried that 1st and it wasn't what was keeping the trophy from unlocking for me. The trophy popped for me after seemingly meeting all requirements then deleting and reinstalling the game.
As Karl Fairburne returns to the battlefield to eliminate the Nazi menace once more, Sniper Elite 5 introduces new features that improve upon the series' traditional sniper experience. Among these new features are the skill trees, which offer players a chance to customize and enhance their playstyle. Players will be able to earn XP and skill points within the game's campaign and survival modes. These skills can be acquired by completing the main objective, side missions, or eliminating key targets.
Points accumulated from both game modes can be allocated to three distinct and different skill trees: Combat, Body, and Equipment. Players will also be able to assign different skills for each game mode separately. They will offer the player distinct advantages as the game progresses and improve their odds against enemy sniper invasions. To access these skills, players simply need to pause their game, select skills, and then choose which abilities they'd like to unlock.
Another skill that belongs in the combat skill tree, Back In The Fight allows players to heal themselves with a medkit should they be incapacitated or get downed by enemy fire. This skill is a must-have, as it unlocks virtually every other skill within the combat skill tree, should players wish to open this pathway up.
The Back In The Fight ability is crucial as it allows players to potentially save themselves from having to restart the mission from the last checkpoint. Moreover, it gives players a second chance to take out enemy player snipers during invasions.
These skills effectively give players more hit points and increase the overall odds of survivability. Players who unlock this early can run and gun about without dying too much on the fields of battle. With that in mind, more health is more wealth.
Also situated within the body skill tree, Cardio reduces the heart rate whilst sprinting, allowing players to cover greater distances more effectively. Costing just one skill point, players will want this skill to successfully pull off flanking maneuvers on enemies and get to various regions of the map. Some maps in Sniper Elite 5 are massive, so having this skill unlocked is definitely worthwhile.
