How do i change referrer value?

I want to write a gm script to get images from imageshack, but some
site have been block due to heavy traffic

I just want to overwrite the referrer value so i can view the images
again

I don't think you can control the referrer header info, afaik.

Hi Anthony, what I hope to do is change the value of
document.referrer. Unfortunately, it a readonly var. I just hope that
you or someone here might know a way using GM to change that value.

You can't change the referrer. But you can change the image URL to a
proxy server.

it's no longer transparent to the user, but if all else fails, there is a nice, clean, lite, afaik perfectly performing firefox extension which will sort you out:

RefControl

ive been very happy ever since i started using it. It is good for your privacy too...
