I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.1 and Greasemonkey 0.6.6.20061017.0, on Mac
OS X 10.4.8.

When I try to open a script, I get the installation dialog, but when I
click on "Install", nothing happens (i.e., the dialog doesn't even
disappear). No errors in the Error Console, either. (I am, however,
able to click on "Show Script Source" or "Cancel".)

If I already have the script source open and use the Tools >
Greasemonkey > Install User Script... menu, nothing happens either.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Reuven

Have you tried setting up a new FF profile and trying there? Sometimes
cruft in a profile (which survives even reinstalls of FF) can mess up
things.
