I realize that userscripts.org is a separate entity, but I'm hoping someone may be able to shed some light as to why we cant access the site. Is it permanently down, or?? Its literally been a month or more since I've been able to access the site. Ironically i can still run all my scripts on firefox and my iphone, so I know the scripts are still being hosted. Its weird. If userscripts is planning on staying down, does GreaseMonkey have a backup plan as far as a script host goes? Thanks in advance.

Every server on the internet that can host a URL ending in ".user.js"
is a user script host. There are also some other existing
purpose-built sites:

I just want you developers delete all the code related to userscripts.org, I can't access the site again and again. Why don't you consider greasyfork.org or other sites?

MonkeyGuts.com is looking for alpha testers. If you want to help out, just register and publish something. See what makes monkeyguts unique.

It looks like the site is down.
And possibly gone forever. (?)

However, you can still access the last snapshot or so from this URL:

https://web.archive.org/web/20140506043023/http://userscripts.org/

Via the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

You can access UserScript with the 8080 port, use this link: http://userscripts.org:8080/

Thanks, I use that port 8080 and install war link checker and rapidshare link checker but I have a problem. Greasemonkey / user script command is grayed out, I cant access the commands for the settings, so my 2 scripts are not working, do you have any idea why user script command is greyed out and how can I fix this, thanks in advance

hello there,

is not solved

to date the site is no longer available at this address, from what I read on the net administrator leaves the site. BUT it is still available on the mirror site which administrators can add the address on the wiki page: http://userscripts-mirror.org/
