Some big changes have been in the works for the past few months.  Greasemonkey is graduating to version 1.0 and making some big changes along the way.  I believe version 1.0beta7 to be stable enough for testing.  Please try it, we desperately want your feedback! But it's still a beta, please be careful.

For lots more detail, read the blog post I just made, and watch for upcoming topic-specific posts:

Please report any bugs or issues at GitHub:

Or reply to this mailing list with general feedback.

Could you open an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues) and provide sample code (less code == easier to understand and fix) that works/breaks, and say in exactly which version of Firefox and Greasemonkey each case happens?

And this seems to be where the problem comes from : GM_setValue.toString(); seems no longer working on FireFox 15 Public. As well as this happening in FF4, I do believe there was a problem in FF12. Any thoughts?

As using @grant is now advised I suggest it be included in the default metablock when creating a new script.
