The updater.php that is installed when loading a script off of local disk is broken.  The .php file apparently contains an "xml" statement that is missing an '=' sign for an attribute.

This is the third time you posted this, and it still isn't part of greasemonkey.  Post a link to your script.

Are you referring to Sizzlemctwizzle's updater that's @include'd in
other scripts? If so, it currently redirects to a GoDaddy parking
page:

http://sizzlemctwizzle.com/updater.php

Tampermonkey has actually blacklisted the URL of that updater. From
the changelog @ http://tampermonkey.net/changelog.php:

@require Blacklist (sizzlemctwizzle updater domain is on sale, so
avoid fraud by an evil domain buyer)

@anthony:  It might even be the 4th time I posted it.  I went back to each of the places where I had almost but not quite found information about the problem I was having and updated each of those.  The web should have a few different ways to discover the problem I encountered and describe ways to fix it.  Correcting the misconceptions I had is just part of the process.

Posting it here was useful as @mjh563 was able to associate the symptom that I saw with additional relevant details.

I removed the "@require" line from my script.

thanks, Chuck
