Greasemonkey not working

i am using ff 3.0.15 with greasemonkey 0.8.2(first time user)
when i try to install any script , this is the message i recieve.
"Script could not be installed [Exception... "Component returned
failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsIChannel.open]"
nsresult: "0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)" location: "JS
frame :: chrome://greasemonkey/content/utils.js :: getContents :: line
244" data: no]"
P.S. as stated above , this is my first experience with greasemonkey ,
i searched for similar problems on this site but could not find.
Any help please..

What script are you trying to install? How are you installing it?
