[greasemonkey] Cant install any scripts

Hi,

I recently installed Greasemonkey and now i want to isntall a
usersscript : http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/91165

I clock top right corner and the window where i can click install
appears. I wait 5 seconds and clock on isntall but nothing happens. It
doenst matter how often I click, creasymonkey jsut doenst react. The
two other buttons wirk fine.

What can i do?

I alredy reinstalled greasemonkey, but it didnt help.

Which version of Greasemonkey is it you installed and are using? Greasemonkey 0.9.7 contains a bug with exactly that symptoms. This issue was fixed in Greasemonkey 0.9.8, downloadable from addons.mozilla.org. You can also go into the Add-ons-Manager of Firefox ("Tools" > "Add-ons" or Ctrl+Shift+A) and check for updates there (the cog icon button at the top, or right click on Greasemonkey and search for updates).

There is a conflict between the FSF HTTPS-Everywhere Firefox Add-on and some scripts which prevents them from being installed. It is caused by the FSF Add-on forcing googleapi URLs to use https.

There are two ways to fix this:

1. Use HTTPS-Everywhere drop-down menu to disable the googleapi forcing, or

2. Modify the script to use the https URL for googleapi links. (This is the better option if you can get the author to make the change in the next release of the script - it provides better security and is functionally the same as the non-https link.

Sorry, I have just installed 0.9.8 and get exactly the same problem.

I will try Keith Petersens' idea now.
