Hi. I'm trying to install GM on my Firefox for Android v19.0.2 and it says it cannot install on this version.
Is this a problem with the platform (actually not available for Android)? Or is this a version kind of issue (won't install on v19 but maybe on 18)?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.
Cesar

Greasemonkey is not compatible with Firefox for Android.

Sad to hear that.
Is there any possibility it will ever be available or it won't be possible? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the fast reply, btw.
Regards.

It takes time.  Time that nobody I know of has to dedicate to the task.

Anthony - I greatly appreciate all the time and effort you and other
developers have put into GM. It's certainly improved my browsing
experience tremendously and I've already given back by publishing a
lot of scripts to do the same for others.

So, for someone like me who might have such time (and probably others
who wind up at this topic) and are contemplating tackling it, could I
bother you for just a few more thoughts on it? I read in another
thread that you said they had a whole new extensions system. Have you
delved much more into it than this? I'm curious if it's a matter of
the main engine being mostly/totally reusable but the GUI and the glue
that communicates with the browser needing to be re-implemented. Just
trying to get a sense of scale to see if it's even feasible for my
schedule.

Thanks again,

Maybe if you Anthony write a summary of the technical details to deal with, some other devs can see if they're able to deal with them and group together to start such development.

Best regards.

I don't know.  I know that early on, it was XUL based, then they changed to something else.  That's about the limit of my knowledge.
