Currently, the only way to get GreaseKit to appear in Safari 4 under
Snow Leopard is to run Safari in 32-bit mode. Are there currently
plans to make GreaseKit work in 64-bit mode?

The problem is that Apple has made it so that 64bit applications won't
load input managers, so another way is needed to load the code into
safari.

Chax (http://ksuther.com/blog/) has an interesting way of loading an
Input Manager into iChat in 64-bit mode. Pros and Cons of this?

I've gone ahead and updated GreaseKit for 64-bit Snow Leopard and the
latest version of SIMBL (absolutely needed to work). And I've even
reduced some memory leaks!

The files are here:

The GreaseKit bundle to decompress and stick in your ~/Library/
Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins" direcotry:

The source code diff:

Latest SIMBL (as of this writing, you probably want a newer if
available):

Great work! Thank you.

I'll bought Snow Leopard and release a new version of GreaseKit on
this weekend. Please wait a moment, sorry.

Nope, just use the binary. The diff is only if you want to compile it yourself.

SIMBL-0.9.5 is out now and since installing it the build of GreaseKit
Aaron posted doesn't appear in Safari (at least for me).

Go back to the previous version? I haven't upgraded yet... have you
tried rebooting?

SIMBL 0.9.6 is out and GreaseKit can no longer install scripts. Even
if you manually put them in the folder they still don't show up in
GreaseKit. You do get a popup box asking if you want to install a
script however confirming it does absolutely nothing. At this point
GreaseKit is pretty much unusable.
