1). There are 4 books , out of which an arrangement is to be make so that ,when 2 books are pickedup, particular 2 books will always be together.

ans. –well.. -37+2+3+5+5+5 we can keep atleast one negative so the no. of positive integers will be "5"

 

3).  There are 5 numbers 2,3,4,7,8 . how many different numbers are
possible , with the middle number being an odd number with no
repetitions?

ans is:48
 

4). Approximate value of 2.7 x 32 / 14.7

5). A rectangular floor 18 feet by 10 feet is to be completely covered with carpeting that costs x dollars per square yard. in terms of x, how many dollars will the carpeting cost? (1 yard=3 feet)
