Hi
My exam got over yesterday. I got 323 (155-verbal and 168-quant)
In quant the questions were all easy except the data interpretation which I did'nt understand at all. I think that is were I lost my marks. There was only one standard deviation question, but they asked it indirectly. Of the 20 questions in one section, I would say, 3 to 4 were tricky, rest were straightforward, the type we usually get in core tests.

And in verbal, I learned all the words from supplementary and any new words I came across in core tests and and practice sets in the portal and also form the gre word list Sonal ma'm had sent us, but I still had a lot of new words in the exam. Reading comprehension was the of the same toughness as in the core tests.

And in the exam center yesterday, my exam was supposed to start at 10:00, but they started admitting people from 9:00 onwards. U can start the test as soon as you enter the test lab. So for the next one hour or so, people were moving about and the 10 min break was also at different times so, it was a lot distracting for me. So I'd say wen u guys practice some core tests try not to take it in perfect silence. Some background noise, not too much, will make it easy during the actual gre. Even if they say in the ets official guide that the exam will be in perfect silence there will always be someone asking asking doubts to the staff or coming in or going out every 5 min.

Read a lot of essays. It improves your language and take a note of the examples they use(make sure they are right). You can find a lot of essays for all the issue topics in the net.You can mail me if you want to know anything else.

All the best guys. Do well. Just don't get tensed. You can always take a retest. Practice makes perfect:-)
