Dear Parents/ Guardians/Community Members (尊敬的家长们）,

Grand Rapids Chinese Language School is an enrichment school, which offer Chinese Language and Culture classes on Saturdays at 1-4pm. The focused language teaching is the first two instructional hours while the third hour is where Chinese cultural activities, such as games, music, sing, dancing, etc. occurs. The school has 10 classes last year and student number reached 80. This year we added a 3-5 year old beginner class with “Play within Culture” as its theme to develop learners’ interests in Chinese language and culture and a "Chinese History, Geography, and Culture" Class to meet the needs of our students and community. The school starts on September 8 and ends on December 15. Tuition for the Fall 2018 semester is $185 total. （今年中文学校将继续为我们的社区提供服务。去年我们开设了10个班。今年我们新增了以中国文化为主题的寓教于乐的幼儿班（3.5-5岁）和中国地理，历史，文化的高级班。新学期将在9月8号开始，12月15号结束。学费和书本费还是185美元一学期，包括教材和复印费。）

This year we also offer a Back-to-School Open House on August 25 at 12-3pm. At the event, we will have all our teachers there to meet with our potential students, to answer questions, and to help with enrollment applications. We will also have some games available. If you would like to have hot dogs for lunch, we have them ready at $2 per hot dog for fundraising. The event address is

Parking is in front of the center. It will be a good opportunity not only for you and your wife to learn about the school, but also for your Jacob to come to immerse in the culture and communications.
