Dear Parents and Friends,

 

This year within our Grand Rapids Chinese Community, we have two big Chinese New Year Celebrations to celebrate Chinese culture and tradition. Please mark your dates for these events!

 

1)    On March 17, 2018, Grand Rapids Chinese Language School will host its Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration at the Grand Rapids Public Museum from 6-8pm. There will be food, games, performances, and more. The planned program will be posted on our school website and be sent to everyone via email as well when time comes closer.

2)    The inaugural “2018 Lunar New Year Festival” hosted by the Chinese Association of West Michigan. It is on February 16, 2018, from 6-10pm at DeVos Place at 303 Monroe Ave NW Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Please see details on the event web site: https://www.elevategr.com/lunar-festival. Please consider being an event sponsor or an event volunteer.

Considering becoming a member of the Chinese Association of West Michigan? Annual membership cost is $35 for a family with discount to families of two. 为了庆祝中国农历新年和中国文化传统，今年在大溪城华人社区有两个大型的庆祝活动。请留意活动时间以及内容。

 1) 2018年3月17号，大溪城中文学校将在Grand Rapids Public Museum举办新年庆祝活动，活动时间为当天晚上6点到8点。此次活动提供食物、游戏、表演以及更多项目。在接近庆祝活动之日，学校会在学校主页上公布并电邮给各位制定好的节目单。
