I've just run AdAware (4.6) and it came up with this:-

Started registry scan.
======================
HotBar key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\rfc1156agent\

Suspicious keys found : 1

As far as I can tell this entry is perfectly okay. A quick websearch
reveals that it's a fairly normal SNMP-related registry entry. It seems
to have appeared after I updated my ADSL driver.

So...

Should I delete it or leave it in place?

Hi allan

E-mail the AdAware folks and let them know what happened. There was a
similar bug in earlier versions with AAW falsely reporting an Aureate
module in memory. They'll appreciate the bug report.

Cheers,
