Concerns On MS Millenium Edition

It may have "critical update notification" program that calls home for
updates...is it spyware? Don't really know....i blocked it with ZA and
manually update windows when "I" feel like it.

Ed,

If you are using Win98, you can uninistall that from the Control Panel
Add/Remove programs and you won't have to worry about it being in your
scheduler or trying to call home. Of course you will have to uninstall it
every time you use Windows Update. <g>
