I tried it out. Had to pay $1.50 for the newsblur plugin just to make it work.
I tried for a week. Giving up, I now have thousands more unread articles due to the overly complicated interface - I'd rather wait to be at my desktop than use the app.
Back to newsrob! I mean ... Graze!
I must say I agree, the simplicity of the interface is a major plus of GrazeRSS for me and I can't see anything much that I need changed, still very happy with it!

I installed News+, went to settings, saw "Offline reading (BETA)" and quickly uninstalled it. Offline is my reason to use Grazerss (London tube commutes would be so boring).
I agree with Travis, not much to change here.

To be fair, I suspect the fact that I get most of my news via Twitter now and only read articles in Graze maybe for a few minutes a month might be a big factor here. I'm on the borderline of cancelling my Newsblur subscription, I use it so rarely.
On the "more regularly maintained" point, whilst News+ hasn't been released since January last year, it was still having features added then. Graze hasn't really had any significant development (other than a couple of minor bugfixes) for years...

Nothing specific. That said, the UI could do with a complete overhaul to bring it up to modern Android UX standards. I believe that's something Travis was looking at, but I understand other priorities can take precedence.
Mainly, it's just about wanting shiny new stuff. 😂

So ... What is the GrazeRSS community using these days? Or has everyone given up on RSS ...
Have you any plans to fix "open in browser"? Since my phone updated to Pie I get an error every time I use that option.
Will try to copy it here at some point soon

As Matthew, it happens only when I use it through press and hold. The menu seems fine.
Any possibility to updated the app so both would use the same method and the menu? My problem is that I turned my buttons off to gain screen space and use those functions through gestures. So no more menu for me.
As Rod, I find the app perfect and can't find any replacement.
Decio.

I'll look at the code and see if I can figure out what's different about the two ways to show in browser. Unfortunately, Google has little desire to maintain backward compatibility, so apps written in older styles have issues on newer versions of the OS. At this point, they won't even accept new versions on the play store as it's not updated enough for them. Use of the menu command needs to be removed entirely before I could submit a new version.I've seen the error reports, but it looks like it might be as simple as launching the browser from the popup menu. Irritating.
