An interesting article came out today on the possibility of using
strong electromagmetic fields created by superconducting electrical
flow in order to cause the blades in the jet engine to spin. This
would allow Hydrogen fuel cells or other electricity producing units
to power jets instead of polluting jet aviation fuels. Also this would
begin the transition of new power sources as hyrdrocarbon/petro
