Dear Creator(s) and Users of Gravit,

This is very beautiful and I thank you for offering it free. I came
across it while searching for an older simulation called "Gravitation"
that I used to run on Mac 9.0. It was more of a Build to Order
planetary system simulator, where each object can be assigned specific
mass and velocity and then added to a working system. It was only 2D
and black and white, but I found it useful and very explanatory when
discussing Newton's Law with my young pupils. This is not supported by
Mac 10.6, and I'm looking for something to replace it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter Smalley, Berkeley

Gravit does actually run on older versions of OS X, but the binary I
released only supports the latest version (at the moment). When I have
some spare time I will update it to support older versions of OS X.

In the mean time, it is possible to download the source code and
compile it for yourself.
