I am trying to launch my Dashboard icon using Windows 10. I do have mapped shares. I think I have an idea, but am not sure the resolution. When I click on my dashboard icon, it opens up a window in Chrome and tries to access the IP address of the drive, 192.168.1.6 and errors out. If I type in www.mycloud.com in Chrome, it launches fine. Its as if there is a host file somewhere that needs to be added. Ideas?
Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security is a solution for Windows and Linux server workload protection that is natively integrated with Azure to provide complete and instant discovery of cloud workloads, automated deployment and configuration of security agents. Kaspersky Lab is expanding its virtualization and cloud security portfolio with the launch of its Hybrid Cloud Security offering. As the name suggests, the purpose of the solution is to secure hybrid clouds environments. It provides API-integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Hybrid cloud models have become an attractive option for organizations that want to adopt public cloud capabilities while maintaining their legacy infrastructure. Nevertheless, many organizations are wary of migrating their applications to the public cloud on account of the security risks it poses. According to a survey by Kaspersky Lab that consisted of feedback from 5,274 respondents, approximately 59% of businesses felt that outsourcing and cloud hosted services could introduce new risks to their IT security.
The internet of things (IoT) is an important tool in the digitalization and successful transition of enterprises to Industry 4.0. Connecting IoT equipment to cloud platforms allows you to build end-to-end digital services, improving your ability to analyze data and monitor device operation and condition. All of this helps save resources, improve management of digital infrastructure and boost business efficiency (including compliance with ESG standards).
Trusted data can be used to build reliable end-to-end digital services with cloud-based analytic apps. They help provide better analysis of production activities and, as a result, increase their efficiency.
The lowest priced tier is for Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud - prices start from $215 per year for up to five devices. This includes file, web, mail and threat protection as well as ransomware prevention with 'rollback' features. There's also a 'Cloud Discovery' tool to monitor unauthorized use of cloud services and time wasted on social networks/messaging apps.
The 'Plus' tier also includes better cloud management services, including limiting inappropriate use of cloud apps, as well as managing Microsoft 365 services. Vulnerability patching is automatic and this pricing plan also supports OS encryption.
The developers have produced a detailed datasheet on everything else the platform has to offer. Chief advantages include the fact that its very flexible, supporting Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Endpoints can also be managed from a single cloud console, saving organizations the time and resources of self-hosting.
Although we'll delve into the interface in more detail, while we're talking about the cloud we were impressed to see that the dashboard and other aspects of the UI can be customized through various web widgets. This makes it much easier for network managers only to see the information they see as vital.
We opened the Edge browser on our test machine and downloaded the file in compressed (ZIP) format. When we tried to extract the file, we found the fake virus vanished from the folder. The agent software didn't display a notification but when we visited the comprehensive 'Reports' section of the Kaspersky cloud console we saw the file had, in fact, been quarantined.
We've said previously that Kaspersky are a big name in cybersecurity and their endpoint security software has won multiple awards. Given how simple it is for organizations to register a business account and try out the cloud console, we can see why.
The array of security features is also spectacular : file scanning is combined with e-mail analysis and a firewall. The cloud security features also make it much easier to prevent unauthorized apps from hogging system resources.
In the case of those the agent did spot though, we'd have appreciated a pop up notification to tell us the threat had been contained. As it was, we simply saw the files vanished and had to log in to the cloud console for verification.
i'm using kaspersky security center in my organization ,and install endpoint security on clients but when kaspersky scan every system it gets all of disk and you can see disk 100% full by kaspersky in the Task manager .
and Clients cannot do anything at all.
