Hburg farmers market (Taya) made shirts using the dye resist method. Very attractive, lovely colors (dark green, maroon, black, brown), soft feel and gentler on the environment. I could ask Taya for her source - wasn't expensive. Also there is Howard at Alliance Graphics in Berkeley. He is Christy Lubin's mothers partner (Middle East Children's Alliance or MECA) - so he's still "local" and a total union shop. He did the last several years of Graton Day shirts and all CLG shirts.
