Support for Arts Organizations in California
James Irvine Foundation: Creative Connections Fund
The James Irvine Foundation's mission is to expand opportunity for the
people of California to participate in a vibrant, successful, and
inclusive society. The Foundation’s Creative Connections Fund supports
the expansion of diverse, relevant arts and cultural offerings in local
communities across California. Grants of up to $50,000 are provided to
small and midsize arts organizations. These smaller organizations have
close ties to their communities and present aesthetics that have
particular relevance to their audiences, and involve local artists. The
application deadline for this program is August 8, 2011. Detailed
information about the Fund’s application process is available on the
Irvine Foundation’s website.
