To judge from both its iconograph and its foreshortening, this composition was probably preparatory for a fresco on the ceiling of a salone in a palace.The squaring grid in red chalk over the figural drawing suggests a relatively monumental scale. The scenes thus likely refer to the sun god Apollo, and the moon goddess, Diana, driving their chariot across the skies. Cambiaso's associate Giovanni Battista Castello, il Bergamasco, frescoed the subject about 1552 on the walls of he Villa Giustiniani Cambiaso, Genoa.

You say other flags that were in war crime still in use today. I cant agree but lets say its true. But the thing is even if it is true, the history of japans war crime is not going to go away or be forgiven.
It is fact that it was used in so many attacks and crimes that japan has done before and during ww2.
Koreans are more offended by rising sun flags because they were victim of japans war crime. Japan used to cut their nose ears mouth skins legs arms and wombs and more on. They even used koreans to do biological experiment and killed so many of these innocent koreans. Not only them. Chinese russians americans Philippines and more on.

The Issue regarding the "rising sun flag" may have become an issue since 2012, but it doesn't mean that it is still was ok for the koreans in the past.

Is there anyone who know Asian history? Is there anyone who know about what Japan did China and Korea? If you know about Asian history, you cannot say the rising sun flag have no problem. Of course, Rising sun flag is traditional flag of Japan. I don't think it's bad when they use it on legal festival or something. But some Japanese use Rising sun flag when they have Korean - hate - assembly. How do you think about that?
