A call of welcome and for friendliness with new users from Kickstarter

Using our new "invite" feature (anyone can join Public Lab but I thought it'd be nice if you could invite people anyways), I just sent invitations to about 350 people who were backers in the Balloon Mapping Kit Kickstarter Mathew did a couple months back. 

So, a lot of people are already joining the site and the mailing lists -- this is just a reminder that it may take people some time to "get" how we do things, so try and make newcomers feel welcome and reach out to them if they need help! And be patient!
