Dear Friends,

We are writing to you all with grieved heart, as our SAATHI, the companion, Bhupendra Banchhore, founder secretary, Saathi Samajsevi Sanstha (Kondagaon, Bastar), left us for heavenly abode on 19 th February 2007. For us at Saathi, our organization, it is saddest of the moments. He left behind some pleasant memories of our togetherness that was shared in our School of Ceramic, and an unconventional career to form Saathi. Our struggles, our works, our thoughts, our perspectives, and, most importantly, a 'never say die' spirit. Bhupendra was born on 27 th October 1968. He was able to bring an unusually positive synergy while assisting a large community of artisans in Bastar and many other places; almighty had some other plans for him.

To offer prayer for the soul to rest in peace and to condole with his family and friends, a small 'condolence meeting' namely HAMARA BHUPENDRA has been organized at Saathi Campus, Kumharpara, Kondagaon (Bastar) on 13 th March 2007.

Your presence is solicited.

Regards.

I did not have the good fortune of meeting Bhupendra, but from what I read in this small message, he had the courage of conviction to do something different which may not have enriched him personally, but must have brought cheer and pleasure to numerous others, especially those who may not be fully equipped to face this harsh world. My salute to Bhupendra and may God give strength to his family and large circle of friends to carry on without him.

Bye Bhuperdra, my pranam......
