Dear IUCN COP11 Delegates, dear colleagues,

In the midst of Congress preparations we have managed to put together 8 IUCN Position Papers with our views and recommendations to the Parties at COP11 (8-19 October, 2012, Hyderabad, India) on a selection of priority issues in the agenda. You can find all our position papers (in English) already online through the following links  http://iucn.org/news_homepage/events/cbd/ or http://iucn.org/news_homepage/events/cbd/meetings/hyderabad_2012/ . The Spanish and French translations of the papers will be online at the end of the week.

Please distribute them widely through your networks, especially Parties and stakeholders attending COP, and for those attending Congress, preferably before flying to Jeju. Like that we have them distributed a bit more of a month in advance of the COP, which is good timing.

Best wishes and see you soon,

Sonia
