Dear Friends: Here is an opportunity to have your neighborhood landscapers see leaf mulching in action, right where they work.

Westchester County has given a grant to our sister leaf mulching organization, Love 'em and Leave em, to spread the word about leaf mulching. Part of the grant includes making presentations to small groups of landscapers throughout the county. They would love to reach some landscapers in Northern Westchester.

This is a chance for you to really be effective in this movement.

Get your neighbors together to ask their landscapers to attend an hour session at a mutually agreeable time and I can arrange for one of the landscapers who mulch to give the demo and trouble shoot with the landscapers.  I think five landscapers would suffice to fit the terms of the grant. And the location could be one of the properties these landscapers work.

Hope to hear from you soon. Leaf season is upon us!

best regards,
Fiona
